XINTEX S-1 Propane Fume Monitor Propane is the fuel of choice for both heating and cooking on boats. Unfortunately, there are inherent risks from the dangerous propane fumes associated with having this fuel on your boat. Propane fumes can settle in the bilge of your boat waiting to explode when you create a spark of any kind! With the simple, single channel propane fume detector. Features a plug-in, a VAR-A-BRITE indicator light that varies in intensity between night and day. Circuitry test and an alarm horn "silence" function on the display unit face which is a standard 2" in diameter. Complete unit includes 2" diameter display module and one propane sensor 20' of lead wire. NOTE: NO solenoid control valve is available for the S-1. Xintex's propane detectors contain remote sensors and valve control. The remote sensors allow you to monitor for propane fumes where they can hide on your boat. If dangerous fumes are detected, the valve control immediately shuts off the flow of propane at the source, possibly saving your life. Also, with the valve control, you no longer need to go to the source to open the valve on your boat, flow control is at your fingertips. Mfg. Part No. S-1 |
