Under Sail Volume 6The Making of "Treasure Island" Our cameras sail to the Isle of Man, in the Irish Sea, aboard a 150 foot tall ship, to film behind the scenes as a major motion picture is made, starring Jack Palance, of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic "Treasure Island". As well as seeing how a movie is made amongst the rigging and spars of a pirate ship, we explore the rugged coasts and waters of the Isle of Man, dive with huge Basking sharks, and visit the island's annual traditional boat festival. The Bermuda Triangle Paul and Sheryl Shard sail to Bermuda through the Bermuda Triangle aboard a 37' sloop fighting unpredictable currents and bad weather, including a deadly waterspout. When the weather clears, they swim with a pod of pilot whales in mid-ocean and later investigate the diverse marine life on the vibrant reefs surrounding the island of Bermuda. 47 min.
